New ContentAgent 2.4 slashes cost yet extends functionality
The new V2.4 software, as well as adding some important features, enables the original bespoke hardware to be replaced by an HP workstation.
New features include support for importing Sony XDCAM and Panasonic P2 for transcoding to any of ContentAgent's extensive supported formats, now including Avid-compatible MXF and DNxHD files.
