In ContentAgent v2.5, authoring of Blu-Ray discs is now possible using the familiar DVD authoring interface. Blu-Ray file support includes Blu-Ray specification MPEG2 (BDMV available in the new MPEG2 Pro Encoder) and Blu-Ray Specification H.264/MPEG-4 AVC (available in the optional MPEG4 / H.264 Platinum plugin).
The authoring tool also now includes support for "Circle Takes" - Clips can be marked in the Burn Disc tab as circle takes and can then be presented on a separate Circle take menu. To mark a clip as a Circle Take, you simply load it into the Burn Disc tab and left click on the clip frame. This will toggle circle takes. If the clip was not already marked as a circle take, a red circle will appear over the clip frame indicating that it is now marked as a Circle Take. Left clicking on the clip frame again will remove the red circle, indicating that the clip is no longer marked as a Circle Take.
Clips marked as circle takes will appear in the Circle Takes menu when you go to author a DVD / BluRay disc. If no clips are marked as Circle Takes, this menu will not be available.
