Used as a standalone system or integrated within a networked operation, ContentAgent is scalable with the addition of ‘off-the-shelf’ render nodes. In all cases, advanced CPU and GPU processing ensures outstanding performance.
Job Agents (transcoding nodes) use the engine to accelerate image and format processing tasks using multicore CPUs and GPUs to provide very fast high quality results. Available using blade servers or PC workstations and agnostic in terms of network connectivity to NAS and SAN’s – a number of JobAgents can be deployed to provide vast parallel processing for fast turnaround jobs.

Integrated, not isolated – ContentAgent is designed to integrate with a number of thirty party products to offer best in class tools to process and automate file-based workflows while running a number of tasks in parallel Using ContentAgent’s elegant workflow designer interface to construct a workflow provides seamless continuity to automate workflows with third party tools and scale to meet the demands of todays multi format deliverables.
The Advanced ContentAgent API enables affordable Enterprise level automation and integration. With the ability to control ContentAgent workflows through Web Services using a SOAP REST API / XML with Metadata decisions, complex workflows incorporating the platinum transcode tool as well as supporting third party integration for transcode/QC/DVD and more.
Command Line Node
ContentAgent’s Command Line Launcher enables further bespoke applications to be integrated to provide an automated workflow.
Asset Management / Project Management Integration
With ContentAgent’s ability to import and export user based metadata via XML files, ContentAgent can automate workflows which include the import and export of user based metadata such as production and asset information about a job. Automate the ingest of XML metadata via a watchfolder, manually or using the ContentAgent API to integrate a workflow with leading asset management and project management systems.
