Automated transcoding, DVD & Blu-ray authoring and integrated Rimage disc publishing provide end-to end film dailies workflow.
The latest ContentAgent software from ROOT6 Technology provides an end-to-end automated digital dailies workflow including the authoring, printing and duplication of Blu-ray discs.
The automated workflow, transcodes all commonly used digital film file formats including the output from RED cameras and output options include ftp, email, web, RSS, HD tape and interactive DVD/Blu-ray discs.
An important new feature ‘DVD Select’ considerably streamlines the dailies workflow. The new function allows filters to be set up to read associated clip metadata and automatically create disc menus by assigned parameters such as scene number, circle takes etc.
The desired workflow is simply set up using ContentAgent’s intuitive workflow designer and, once established, may be revisited by non-technical operators. No prior authoring experience is required and chapter navigation points, screen graphics and titles are easily added via a comprehensive tool set in ContentAgent’s ‘Burn Disc’ tab.
Individually branded copies for the Director, DOP, Cameraman etc may be incorporated in the infinitely repeatable workflow. Full integration with Rimage disc publishing streamlines the operation considerably as disc label design, high quality printing and duplication parameters are all accessed within the ContentAgent workflow.
"The simple creation of interactive DVD from both SD and HD sources has proved highly popular with customers," said Marcus Hume-Humphreys, MD of ROOT6 Technology. "By extending that capability to Blu-ray and with full integration with Rimage publishing we can offer the dailies community ultimate flexibility in the implementation and automation of its workflow, producing cost effective deliverables at any required resolution."
