Seen at IBC is the first implementation of V.3 software for ContentAgent, the universal content repurposing and management system from ROOT6 Technology.
Utilising ContentAgent’s powerful and flexible SQL database management, a number of new applications will be demonstrated for the first time at the show including automated QC using Tektronix Cerify and, for users working in the Apple ProRes environment, integration with Telestream’s Episode Engine.
V.3 Software also introduces the benefits of clustered rendering for transcode-intensive operations. ContentCentral, the job distribution server, intelligently manages the parallel processing of multiple tasks across JobAgents – low cost render accelerators. The system is fully scalable and extremely cost-effective in heavy-duty transcode environments.
Capitalising on ContentAgent’s DVD and Blu-ray authoring capabilities, and full integration with Rimage disc publishing and printing, a new product will be showcased on the Rimage stand. This utilises the Disc Burn feature of ContentAgent and Rimage publishing and printing to create an automated DVD and Blu-ray authoring and publishing system for MPEG material and its associated metadata.
