Collaboration between ROOT6 Technology and Rimage Corporation delivers an all-encompassing DVD production system - from encoding, authoring and navigation to high quality disc printing and duplication.
IBC, Amsterdam Sept 11 2008… The collaboration between ROOT6 Technology and Rimage Corporation showcased at NAB, has been extended and now forms an important component of the latest v2.4.5 software release for ContentAgent, shipping free to customers with software maintenance contracts post IBC.
Rimage disc label design, printing and duplication capabilities have now been fully integrated with ContentAgent, ROOT6 Technology’s universal content repurposing platform.
“The simple interactive DVD creation that ContentAgent offers has long been one of its most popular features,” said ROOT6 Technology MD Marcus Hume – Humphreys. “Now we can take it that much further. Interactive DVD’s created on the system can now benefit from the full set of Rimage tools.
“Using ContentAgent, production companies, for example, can use non-technical staff to create DVDs with chapter navigation points, choosing from a variety of menu templates provided by the system. The DVDs, which might feature the company showreel for instance, can then have the Rimage workflow benefits applied, namely high quality disc label design, direct to disc label printing and duplication to order.”
