ContentAgent, v2.5, is now shipping!

New features include:  Blu-ray authoring, Menu filters and Circle Takes, Gamma correction, Media trimmer, Media assembler, CMDLine Advanced Application Launcher processor and XML Transformer.

User Guide: XML Transformer

The new XML transformer template in v2.5 allows for existing metadata, basic information on clips in ContentAgent and system information to be mapped to any externally defined metadata or XML schema.

Mike Jarvis Joins ROOT6 Technology

Mike Jarvis has joined ROOT6 Technology as Channel Manager for Europe. With a career spanning more than 30 years in the industry, Jarvis has held senior sales management positions at Avid, Snell & Willcox, Marquis and most recently, Vizrt. Jarvis’ task will be to grow the European re-seller channel for ContentAgent.

“Transitioning to file-based worklow and monetizing content are two key challenges facing the industry at this time,” said Jarvis. “I relish the opportunity to expand our business throughout Europe, following up on the high level of interest expressed by re-sellers at IBC.”
