The new R3D support in ContentAgent 2.45 has had a great reception at the various previews we've given over the last couple of months, so to celebrate we thought we'd dedicate this issue to all things RED and to highlight just why ContentAgent is set to become THE dailies workflow solution.

Until now there has never been a simple solution for handling RED dailies, but ContentAgent takes what was once a laborious process and makes it ridiculously easy.

1) Connect the transport drive with the R3D media to ContentAgent

2) Apply your workflow!

In just a few clicks you can generate all you dailies deliverables, including:

• DNxHD 36 MXF files, copied directly to editorial's SAN

• Multiple, uniquely watermarked and bar-coded DVDs complete with menus and slates, burnt and printed using ContentAgents support for Rimage's powerful publishing products.

• High definition H264 QuickTimes uploaded via FTP or rights protected WMV files emailed to a saved distribution list.
